As the youngest of nine children, this third generation preacher grew up in the faith and knew from an early age he was called to preach the gospel.
In January of 1993, he acknowledged his call to ministry and delivered his initial sermon in December of 1994. He was ordained by the Church of God in Christ in 2000 and he continued to serve faithfully for several years. .
In January of 2007 it became very clear to him that God was saying, "it is time to make a bold move". In response to God's direction through prayer, he and his wife announced the establishment of Word in Season Ministries.
Pastor Mack has a heart after God and desires to see men, women, boys and girls become everything God has created them to be. His powerful yet simplistic messages reach the heart of people right where they are. He founded WISM on the principle of being "A Church where we love God and we love His people" based on Matthew 22:37-40.
In his lifetime he has experienced many seasons and now understands that just as natural seasons change, seasons in our lives change. Therefore, he believes that God has given him a Kingdom mandate to declare that "For every season... there is a word in season" (Isaiah 50:4)
